BUS DRIVER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License – Category D with required supporting certification or proof.
• Previous experience driving buses or other passenger transport vehicles is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, reliable, and able to follow transportation regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Receive assigned buses and verify driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, permits, schedules, tariffs, and other required documents.
• Conduct daily inspections of buses and vehicle components to ensure they meet legal and company safety requirements.
• Operate buses safely and efficiently while following traffic laws, company policies, and approved routes and schedules.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, monitor entry and exit, and ensure vehicle doors are properly secured.
• Handle travel tickets and ticket-issuing equipment, reconcile ticket quantities with sales reports, and record ticket sales accurately.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs, such as replacing tires, wipers, fuel filters, and other simple components.
• Perform other transportation, passenger service, and vehicle-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
