Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management, Hospitality/Tourism Management, or a similar field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Solid experience in coffee preparation and basic knowledge of coffee-making techniques.
• Strong background in customer service.
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and practical experience in preparing coffee and hot and cold beverages.
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen and food preparation tasks.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate coffee machines and beverage preparation equipment.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene practices.
• Able to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Willing to undergo company-provided training to improve coffee preparation and beverage service skills.
• Flexible and willing to perform different duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Able to follow instructions, company procedures, and food safety standards.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a kitchen and food service team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare basic coffee and other hot and cold beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and other kitchen-related activities.
• Perform basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and preparing ingredients.
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and supplies needed for daily kitchen and beverage operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation and kitchen areas.
• Clean and properly maintain coffee machines, beverage equipment, utensils, counters, and workstations.
• Follow established beverage preparation procedures and serving standards.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with customers.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, beverage, and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations at all times.
• Properly store food, beverage ingredients, coffee supplies, and other materials.
• Monitor ingredient and beverage supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness throughout the food preparation and service areas.
• Follow instructions provided by the Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, or other authorized managers.
• Perform other kitchen, beverage, cleaning, and food service duties assigned by superiors or managers.
