Job Location: Serbia

Drillex International D.O.O. is seeking a hardworking and reliable Assistant Driller / Offsider to support drilling operations in Serbia. The successful candidate will assist the driller with equipment setup, drilling activities, material handling, and routine maintenance while helping maintain a safe and organized worksite.

ASST. DRILLER/OFFSIDER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in drilling, mining, construction, or heavy equipment operations.
  • Previous experience as a Driller’s Helper, Assistant Driller, or Offsider is preferred.
  • Ability to assist with setting up and dismantling drilling equipment.
  • Ability to handle drill rods, tools, hoses, core samples, and drilling materials safely.
  • Physically capable of performing manual work in a drilling or industrial environment.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the driller with daily drilling operations and site preparation.
  • Help set up, assemble, dismantle, and move drilling equipment as required.
  • Handle and position drill rods, tools, hoses, core samples, and other drilling materials.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing drilling equipment and supplies.
  • Support the collection, handling, and proper storage of core samples.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain drilling equipment, tools, and the work area.
  • Assist with routine equipment checks and report damaged or defective components.
  • Follow the driller’s instructions and coordinate with other crew members during operations.
  • Observe workplace safety procedures when handling heavy equipment and materials.
  • Maintain an orderly worksite and assist with general drilling-related tasks.
