AAC Installer/Bricklayer/Mason
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience with AAC bricks.
- Must possess a diploma or vocational qualification in a relevant field.
- Must have practical skills and knowledge in AAC installation, bricklaying, or masonry.
- Must be able to understand construction instructions and follow project specifications.
- Must be willing to work in Australia and comply with applicable employment and workplace safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install and lay AAC blocks or bricks according to construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare AAC materials to achieve accurate dimensions and proper fitting.
- Prepare surfaces, mortar, adhesives, and other materials required for AAC installation.
- Align, level, and secure blocks to ensure structurally sound and properly finished masonry work.
- Perform bricklaying, masonry, and related construction tasks as assigned.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to meet project deadlines.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean and organized work area.
