ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum University Degree in Accounting & Commerce from a reputable university or partly qualified in a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in industries such as FMCG distribution, hospitality, retail, luxury, printing, or medical distribution is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, financial statements, and reports.
• Perform daily accounting transactions, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling financial data.
• Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, payments, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and financial records.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and policies.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
