Precast Concrete Production Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in precast concrete production or heavy construction operations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale production facilities, preferably in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement, and mould systems.
• Experience with batching plant operations and production planning.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
• Commercial and financial awareness; problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Production Management:
  • Plan, organize, and control all precast production activities according to approved work programs and schedules.
  • Develop and implement production schedules aligned with project timelines, delivery requirements, and resource availability.
  • Monitor production outputs and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
  • Oversee batching plant operations, casting processes, curing systems, and yard logistics.
  • Ensure efficient workflow between reinforcement, casting, curing, and dispatch processes.
  • Manage mould systems, including design, maintenance, and turnover efficiency.
• Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and manage production supervisors, foremen, and plant personnel.
  • Allocate manpower effectively in line with production priorities.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained, competent, and compliant with company procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all precast products comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Implement and enforce Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with engineers and quality personnel.
  • Identify non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Material & Budget Management:
  • Manage procurement, storage, and utilization of raw materials to support production schedules.
  • Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with IMS requirements.
  • Prepare and manage production budgets in coordination with management.
  • Monitor operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordination & Reporting:
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and logistics teams to align production with project requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery sequencing and dispatch planning.
  • Prepare and submit production and performance reports.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new technologies.
