Kentech Qatar Technical Services is seeking highly skilled Instrument Technicians with strong experience in commissioning and control systems. The role involves working on complex instrumentation systems within oil & gas or petrochemical projects, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Instrument Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Diploma or Certificate in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in instrumentation commissioning.
• Proven experience with Emerson DeltaV in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, IEC, NFPA, and API standards.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in relevant fields.

Responsibilities:

• Perform commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
• Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment.
• Utilize Emerson DeltaV systems in project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, NFPA, and API.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during commissioning activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and project requirements.
