TRUCK MECHANIC (Dealership)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Truck Mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment
• At least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience with truck maintenance systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on trucks, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as per manufacturer’s guidelines and safety standards
• Inspect and test truck components for functionality and safety compliance
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Maintain detailed repair and service records for each vehicle
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and truck repair technologies
