PIPE FITTER
Ajm United Steel Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Pipe Fitters to join our leading steel and engineering company in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong trade background in pipefitting or related fields, with experience in industrial, commercial, or construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification or certificate in Pipefitting, Plumbing, Mechanical Fitting, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of recent and verifiable experience as a Pipe Fitter
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or construction projects (plants, refineries, manufacturing, HVAC, fire services, etc.)
- Strong skills in layout and installation of various piping materials
- Good understanding of piping codes, standards, and safe work practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
- Layout, assemble, and install carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials
- Perform welding, cutting, and fitting of pipes according to project requirements
- Ensure work complies with piping codes, standards, and safe work practices
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installation and maintenance tasks
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality

- Diploma/TOR
- Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
- Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
- 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
