E&I Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, particularly in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial plants.
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems (PLCs, DCS, field instruments).
- Good understanding of safety systems, HAZOP studies, and SIL (Safety Integrity Level) standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, control systems, and instrumentation for oil and gas facilities.
- Prepare engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Specify and select electrical and instrumentation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, API, ISA) and project specifications.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Support HAZOP, SIL studies, and safety system design (ESD, fire and gas systems).
