Job Vacancy: Extrusion Machine Operator (Wire and Cable)

Extrusion Machine Operator (Wire and Cable)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in wire and cable manufacturing or a related industry.
- Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or equivalent in Electrical, ITI (Industrial Training Institute), or a similar field. (Note: Strictly no Engineer’s degree holders).
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in operating extrusion machines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Ability to understand and speak English fluently.
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques for extrusion machines.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role due to operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion machines for the production of wire and cables, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Meet shift production targets while maintaining product quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections to maintain machine performance and identify any potential issues before they affect production.
- Adhere to safety and 5S protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot minor machine problems and report any major issues to the supervisor for immediate resolution.
- Maintain and document production logs, quality control reports, and other necessary records.
- Work closely with team members to ensure effective communication and team collaboration during the production process.
