Assembly/Armouring Machine Operator (Wire and Cable)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Assembly Machine Operator in wire and cable manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Ability to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Operate cable assembly and armouring machines to ensure maximum productivity and high product quality.
  • Production Efficiency: Meet the shift production target by operating the machine at optimal performance levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, 5S guidelines, and best practices to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards and are within the required specifications.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Operate machines according to established procedures to maintain consistency and minimize errors.
  • Troubleshooting: Address any machine-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues.
