WELDER/TRUCK ASSEMBLER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in truck body building, construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Skilled in assembling tipper bodies, cranes, hook-lift systems, and refuse trucks.
• Proficient in MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and related components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Automotive mechanics qualification or equivalent experience.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair truck bodies and components, including tipper bodies, cranes, hook-lift systems, and refuse trucks.
• Perform semi-automatic welding (MIG/MAG  GMAW) to ensure strong and durable assemblies.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Install and connect hydraulic systems, including hoses, tipping mechanisms, crane systems, and container connections.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on new and used truck units.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in vehicle assembly.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
