PASTRY MAKER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Maker or Sugar Artist.
• At least high school graduate.
• Strong technical skills in pastry production and sugar artistry.
• Creativity and ability to produce visually stunning desserts.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pastry Production:
  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries, plated desserts, cakes, and specialty items.
  • Develop new dessert concepts in coordination with the Executive Chef or R&D Chef.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pastry items.
• Sugar Artistry:
  • Design and execute sugar showpieces including pulled sugar, blown sugar, and cast sugar.
  • Create artistic centerpieces for events, weddings, and VIP functions.
  • Work with isomalt, chocolate décor, and other confectionery materials.
  • Maintain artistic standards aligned with luxury and fine-dining presentation.
• Hygiene & Safety:
  • Follow HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the pastry kitchen and all equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and proper handling of tools.
