Silo Maintenance Worker

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of working experience in maintenance or related roles.
• Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems or agricultural machinery.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights safely.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical repair skills.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect silo structures for cracks, wall deformations, and integrity of bolts, ladders, and support structures, especially before/after filling or during rainy seasons.
• Remove buildup and residue from silo walls, hoppers, and bins using specialized vacuum systems or manual methods to restore full capacity.
• Maintain, repair, or replace auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, aeration systems, pneumatic tools, level indicators, and motors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to identify and solve operational issues.
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
