MUSIC TEACHER (PIANO)

Qualifications:

• Female applicants are preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in music + Trinity/ABRSM (Initial–Grade 8) or equivalent (practical & written).
• Piano graded certificates or diploma (primary instrument)
• GCE O‑level/A‑level English or fluent spoken English
• 1–2 years teaching experience and preparing students for Trinity/ABRSM or equivalent exams.
• Strong music theory knowledge; vocals/singing knowledge a plus.
• Positive, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills; able to teach primary and secondary students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach piano lessons to students of various and skill levels.
• Develop and implement structured lesson plans based on students’ abilities and learning goals.
• Instruct students in piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, or music examinations when required.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage students’ interest in music and help them build confidence in playing the piano.
• Coordinate with school staff or administration regarding student progress and activities.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of musical instruments and teaching materials.

• Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
• Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
• 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
