Roof Plumber

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in metal roofing installation
  • Must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course
  • Proven experience in installing Colorbond, Zincalume (Zircalume), or similar metal roofing systems
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and roof plans
  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights
  • Knowledge of safety standards and fall protection procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:

  • Install commercial metal roofing systems, including Colorbond, Zincalume, and similar materials
  • Install wall cladding systems, flashing, box gutters, sumps, cappings, and roof penetrations
  • Install insulation and sarking in accordance with project specifications
  • Measure, cut, fold, and install metal sheets and flashing accurately
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, roof plans, and layout specifications
  • Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and weatherproofing of roofing systems
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
