Bus Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 4 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in buses
• Perform regular maintenance on buses, including oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups
• Repair or replace faulty parts of the bus, including brakes, transmissions, and exhaust systems
• Test drive buses to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and ensure compliance with state vehicle requirements
• Keep detailed records of the maintenance and repair work done on each bus
• Order necessary parts and supplies needed for repair and maintenance tasks
• Coordinate with drivers and management to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
• Stay updated with the latest techniques and equipment used in bus repair and maintenance
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities
• Candidates should have on hand experience on passenger buses and Mercedes Sprinter buses.
• Candidates should have both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
