Electrical Trade Assistant

Qualifications:

• Must have NC2-3 Training Certification.
• Preferably have experience working overseas on major projects
• 5 years’ experience minimum in electrical work
• Strong fault finding & trouble shooting skills
• Ability to read diagrams and layouts – ideally also schematic drawings
• Industrial experience with strong knowledge of Automation and Control Systems
• Experience with VSDs/Variable Frequency Drives programming, fault-finding
• Experience with Busbars, switchgear, and protection systems
• Experience with Motors (LV/MV), pumps, compressors, conveyors

Responsibilities:

• Setting up tools, materials, and equipment; ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
• Assisting with pulling cables, connecting wires, and mounting fixtures/components.
• igging trenches, lifting heavy items, cutting materials, and laying cable.
• Loading/unloading, organizing supplies, and maintaining tools.
