CHEF DE PARTIE (Pastry)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year work experience
• Asian cuisine- Chinese, Korean, Malaysian.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, tarts, mousses, and other plated sweets.
• Oversee your designated pastry section and ensure all items are produced efficiently and to a high standard.
• Follow recipes and plating guidelines for consistency in quality and presentation.
• Ensure all mise en place is ready ahead of service periods.
• Work closely with the Pastry Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section, in line with hygiene regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for ordering and preparation.
• Train and guide commis chefs and junior pastry staff within your
  section
