Qualifications:

• Should have minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field
• Computer literate and should have ability to read and write
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Should have experience/ knowledge in welding / fitting/ boiler maker

Responsibilities:

• An electrician in an Australian scrap yard would primarily be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems related to the recycling
  and processing equipment.
• This includes tasks like installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring, control systems, and machinery.
• The role also involves working with various electrical components, such as motors, sensors, and switchboards, and ensuring the safe and efficient
  operation of the scrap yard’s electrical infrastructure.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for various scrap yard equipment, including but not limited to: Wiring and control systems for sorting machinery
• Electrical components of cranes, lifts, and other heavy equipment. Power distribution and lighting systems within the yard.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in equipment, machinery, and the overall electrical infrastructure of the yard.
