Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Complete high school or get a junior high school diploma
  • Take the Home Economics Strand in senior high school
  • Complete the NC II Housekeeping curriculum
  • Be physically able to bend, lift, and stand for long periods
  • Be punctual and reliable Have strong attention to detail Be trustworthy
  • Be able to use hazardous cleaning chemicals safely

Responsibilities:

  • Dusting surfaces, including cabinets, cupboards, and walls
  • Sweeping floors , Cleaning windows and doors
  • Sanitizing restrooms Cleaning kitchens Cleaning basements Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters
  • Mopping floors , Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies
  • Reporting any shortages or damages
  • Notifying management of repairs
  • Transporting dirty linens to be cleaned
  • Restocking areas with clean linens
  • Following safety protocols Maintaining an efficiently
