SCADA OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience as a SCADA Operator with technical skills in SCADA software, problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Preferably with vocational or college diploma related to electrical engineering, automation or computer science.
  • Monitoring real-time data, responding to alarms, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with field personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating and monitoring SCADA systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
  • Recording, compiling, and analyzing data from SCADA systems to identify any irregularities or issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with SCADA systems and networks
  • Performing regular maintenance and upgrades on SCADA systems and equipment
  • Designing and implementing SCADA system projects
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Maintaining a detailed record of all activities, including system operations, maintenance, and data analysis
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other team members
  • Developing and implementing operational procedures and guidelines for the SCADA system
  • Communicating with other departments and stakeholders about SCADA system performance and issues
