Dairy Agricultural Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years recent and relevant experience in a commercial dairy farm Must hold one of the following qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Technology
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Technology
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid driver’s license (must be able to drive 4-wheeled vehicles)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and service dairy-related equipment (e.g., milking machines, pumps, tractors, and feeding systems)
• Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Assist with daily farm operations such as milking, feeding, and general livestock care as needed
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
