Food and Beverage Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Must be a Vocational/ Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage, Culinary; Others or similar fields
  • At least 1 year and above experience in hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Order Taking & Serving: Take food and beverage orders from guests, communicate them clearly to the kitchen or bar, and serve orders promptly and accurately.
  • Food Preparation Assistance: Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, desserts, or beverages in line with hotel standards.
  • Table Setting & Maintenance: Set up tables according to hotel specifications, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement.
  • Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, ensuring proper sanitation of tables, chairs, and floors. Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
  • Stock Management: Help with restocking service areas, bar, and kitchen as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Multi-tasking: Assist across multiple food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and events, based on operational needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other food and beverage team members, kitchen staff, and management to provide seamless service.
  • Guest Requests: Respond to guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring they have a positive experience.
  • Handling Payments: Process guest payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate billing.
