Electrical Part Mounter

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a passport.
• Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in locomotives or similar machinery
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Skilled in using tools and equipment for electrical installation (e.g., multimeters, crimping tools, wire strippers)
• Ability to mount and secure electrical components properly for safe and efficient operation
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs or adjustments

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical components such as wiring, control panels, switches, fuses, and connectors onto locomotives
• Assemble electrical circuits based on technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
• Mount electrical parts securely and ensure all connections are properly made
• Collaborate with other technicians to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and control systems in the locomotive
• Troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues during installation or maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures
