Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment Installer
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, such as hydraulic presses, wrenches, and pipe benders
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Familiar with pressure testing and diagnosing leaks or malfunctions in fluid systems
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and mount pneumatic and hydraulic components, such as cylinders, pumps, valves, and hoses, onto locomotives
- Ensure proper alignment and secure mounting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems to maintain efficiency and safety
Connect hydraulic lines, hoses, and fittings in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards - Test hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper functionality, checking for leaks, pressure levels, and overall system performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts and assembly instructions
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic components as needed
