Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Proven experience operating combination excavators or similar heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of excavator operation, attachments, and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to operate heavy machinery and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the excavator.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a combination excavator to dig, lift, and move materials such as soil, rocks, and debris on construction sites.
- Set up and adjust the excavator for different tasks, including trenching, digging foundations, and material handling.
- Ensure the excavator is properly maintained, performing routine checks and servicing the machine as needed.
- Use the excavator’s various attachments, such as buckets, grapples, or breakers, to perform specialized tasks.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Inspect and ensure the work area is clear of obstacles before operating the excavator.
