Livestock Breeder

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have passports.
• Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of pig breeding, genetics, and general pig care.
• Familiarity with pig health, nutrition, and disease management practices.
• Ability to safely handle and manage livestock in various stages of growth.
• Experience with the birthing process and caring for newborn piglets.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work long hours on the farm.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with veterinarians or other farm staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care, feeding, and health of pigs on the farm.
• Oversee breeding programs to ensure optimal genetic quality and reproduction rates
• Maintain accurate breeding records, including tracking lineage and performance.
  Monitor pigs for signs of illness or injury and provide necessary treatment or medications.
  Ensure proper housing conditions, including cleanliness, ventilation, and temperature control
