Tile Setter
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passport.
- Proven ability to glue/install tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas
- Skilled in working with drywall, plaster, and applying screeds
- Ability to prepare and level surfaces before tile installation
- Knowledge of different types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.) and adhesives
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing materials if needed
- Lay out work using drawings, sketches, or blueprints
- Cut tiles using hand tools or wet saws to fit around obstacles and edges
- Apply adhesive, mortar, or grout to tiles and set them in place
- Ensure tiles are evenly spaced and aligned correctly
