HORTICULTURAL EXPERT

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of previous experience in nurseries, botanical gardens, landscaping companies, parks, and recreation departments.
• Should have Certificates of Employment and TESDA NCIII or Trade Test Certificates in Horticulture.
• Should have pertinent Training Certificates to support work experience.
• Must have UKVI IELTS with a score of 4.0 per category
• Should be able to accurately identify a wide variety of plants, including trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables.
• Should be knowledgeable in plant propagation methods like cuttings, grafting, and seed propagation to grow new plants.
• Should be knowledgeable in plant health management and have a good and proper understanding of common plant diseases and pests, including identification and control strategies.
• Must be competent in soil science. Knowledgeable in soil types, nutrient requirements, and soil amendments.
• Should have excellent garden design and landscaping skills to design & create aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
• Should be able to manage the property’s Rhododendron collection & SSSI.
• Should have excellent garden development planning to enhance visitor experience.
• Must be able to propagate rare plants & manage collections.
• Should be able to implement organic and sustainable practices.
• Should have effective team skills, being able to collaborate and manage records.
• Must be able to maintain a positive outlook and attitude.
• Flexible in working patterns
• Must be forward-thinking & have good English communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a four-wheeled vehicle; hence a Driver’s License is required.
• Newly renewed passport

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary starts at Php 236,000.00 gross monthly
• Three (3) years contract, renewable
