Cable Jointer

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in ESI – Cable Jointing.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Safety.
• Valid Driver’s License – “C” Class.
• National Police Clearance.
• OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.
• Workplace First Aid and Perform CPR Certificate.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and operating Cable joining equipment and devices.
• Preparing various types of Cable for splicing.
• Prepare cable terminations for electrical equipment and overhead lines.
• Make and repair joins in insulated power supply and control cables installed in underground pipes, trenches, and overhead systems.
• Joining cables and sealing sheaths with thermoplastics and lead (if accredited).
• Install and maintain underground electrical cables.
• Complete reporting and documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Updated Resume with complete job description.
• Diploma / Transcript of Records / Training Certification/s.
• Certificate of Employment/s.
• Scanned Copy of a valid Passport.
