ASNT NDT LEVEL II UT

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in Pipe mill or Similar Industry in NDT field
• Must possess A previous or valid Saudi ARAMCO ASNT Level II certification specifically in Ultrasonic Testing
• Completion of a recognized training program in ultrasonic testing principles, techniques, and application
• Prior experience in performing ultrasonic testing inspections on various materials and applications is typically required
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic wave propagation, different probe types, and interpretation of test signals
• Ability to accurately record inspection data and generate clear, concise reports
• Capability to analyze complex test results, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions

Responsibilities:

• Performing non-destructive inspections on materials using ultrasonic waves to detect flaws or defects, requiring a high level of technical expertise to set up equipment
• Interpret test results, and document findings, while holding a recognized ASNT Level II certification specifically in Ultrasonic Testing, which includes passing a theoretical exam and demonstrating practical skills through an employer-administered test
• Typically requiring a combination of relevant training and experience in the field
• Setting up ultrasonic testing equipment, selecting appropriate probes and parameters, and calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy
• Analyzing ultrasonic signals to identify and evaluate potential defects, including their size, location, and severity
• Documenting inspection findings clearly and accurately in detailed reports, including sketches and photographs
• Adhering to quality standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations
• Identifying and resolving issues related to equipment malfunction or inspection challenges
