Power Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience post-qualification working within a HV environment
  • An understanding of the financial and administrative requirements of scoping and pricing work within the electricity supply industry
  • Must be computer literate and an understanding of the basic Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Experience with implementing new industry technology
  • Ability to review, develop and implement changes with industry technology
  • Proven ability to test control and protection systems relating to electricity supply industry assets
  • New Zealand Qualification in Electricity Supply Power Technician (Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Attainment or currently studying towards a Level 6 qualifications in Electricity Supply
  • Current Practicing License, New Zealand Class 1 Drivers License
  • Network Access Certificate , Plant Operators Certificate

Requirements:

  • Detailed Resume with job description/duties & responsibilities
  • Passport valid for more than 3 years preferred (or proof of passport release)
  • NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
  • Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
  • PEOS certificate
  • Vax Certificate
