Marine Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a marine mechanic, particularly with brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, and Seadoo.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient in using computer diagnostic software.
• Ability to work independently in the field to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong ability to manage and implement maintenance schedules while handling unexpected breakdowns efficiently.
• Computer-literate (Word, Excel and Email)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Marine mechanic certification (preferred) and with clean criminal record.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on outboard motors, inboard engines, and jet skis.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using computer diagnostic software
• Review, implement, and maintain scheduled maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage breakdowns effectively and efficiently to minimize downtime
• Conduct safety inspections and pre-ride checks.
• Provide field-based troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Manage inventory and order parts for repairs
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
• Assist with boat launching and retrieval as required.
• A commitment to safety as the highest priority, consistently operating above best practices
