Branch Manager

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management, with a focus on furniture or home appliances preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and financial reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
• Ensure that the branch meets or exceeds performance targets, including sales goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure a high-performing team.
• Schedule staff shifts and manage workforce planning to ensure optimal coverage
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and loss prevention.
• Ensure that the store is visually appealing and that products are well-displayed and organized
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to manage stock replenishment and product assortment.
• Manage the branch’s budget, including expenses and financial reporting
• Analyze financial statements to track performance and identify areas for cost control.
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions and adherence to financial procedures
• Implement local marketing strategies and promotional events to drive foot traffic and sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with the local community and industry partners
• Represent the company at local events and network to enhance the branch’s visibility.
• Ensure the branch complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the store’s environment is safe and clean.
• Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively
• Office and retail environment with potential for standing, walking, and lifting
• May require occasional evening or weekend work based on store needs or special events.
• Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and improving store performance.
• Maximize profitability by managing costs effectively and optimizing product pricing.
• Enhance customer experience and satisfaction by addressing customer needs and improving service quality
• Optimize inventory levels to balance stock availability with minimizing excess inventory
• Reduce turnover by fostering a positive work environment and implementing effective employee retention strategies.
• Increase ATV by encouraging higher-value purchases through upselling and promotions.
• Improve conversion rates by enhancing sales techniques and optimizing the store layout
• Optimize store layout and product placement to maximize sales efficiency per square foot of retail space
