Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Assistant

Qualifications:

  • With Caterpillar (CAT) dealer experience, will be a great advantage.
  • At least 3 years experience in Oil & gas engines, handling hydraulics & transmission, repair & testing, Fuel injection pump repair calibration.
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Familiar with Applied Failure Analysis and Parts Re usability.
  • Hands-on experience in Engine testing Dynamometer, EPG engines ,engine building, preventive machine maintenance jobs and pre-delivery inspection.
  • Hands-on experience in machine air-conditioning, all electrical components, all machine engine components, removal repair and recondition.
  • With technical knowledge in marine engines able to do trouble shoot, repair on board and conduct sea trials.
  • Familiar with Caterpillar Electronic Technician (CAT ET & SIS use) and should know how to perform diagnostic test calibrations etc. MS Office Literate and with good communication skills.
  • Capable to carry out advanced electrical diagnosis and troubleshooting on various CAT dealer & other material handling units (e.g Lift Truck, Terex.
  • Kone Cranes, Unicarriers (ATLET) products & CAT Telehandler etc.)
  • Complies with all Safety and Contamination Control procedures
  • Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance jobs for Machine & EPG.
  • Has technical knowledge in performing PD Inspection for the Heavy Equipment’s etc
