QA/QC Engineer (Lead Certified)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of work experience in a QA/QC role within the interior fit-out or construction industry

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the formulation & implementation of the Project specific Quality Plan (PQP).
• Responsible for the preparation, review and approval of all the materials involved in the Project
• Responsible for the formulation, review and approval of all project documentation such as method statements, ITPs, etc. and to monitor the subcontractors work if it is in line with the approved methodologies.
• Responsible for maintaining the logs for all the project documents such as material submittals, method statements, ITPs, test reports, NCRs, etc.
• Preparing daily/ monthly QA/QC reports.
• Performing inspection of incoming materials with respect to the approved drawings/ specifications/ material submittals and samples.
• Conducting regular on-site inspections and audits to verify the application of relevant procedures, guidelines and making appropriate recommendations to correct discrepancies.
• Preparing method statements, ITPs and checklists for all major activities and obtaining approval.
• Conducting internal inspections and instructing the Project Engineer to rectify all observations.
• Preparing site instructions/ observation reports, and reporting deviations to the Project Engineer, Project Manager and Quality Manager.
• Monitoring the actions against site observation report and raising NCR if there are no actions.
• Preparing Inspection Requests for completed works and coordinating with Consultant for approval.
