Auto Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Auto Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a wide range of vehicle models.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit to handle tools and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle issues related to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical problems and test vehicle systems.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
• Ensure proper functioning of vehicles by conducting thorough post-repair tests.
• Perform wheel alignments, tune-ups, and vehicle inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs, vehicle maintenance, and replacement parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to workplace safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to provide top-quality service.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to ensure smooth workshop operations
