Lathe/Milling Machine Operator
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passports
- Can Communicate through English
- Knowledgeable workplace safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
- Must understand how various materials, including metals and plastics, react to machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and quality in machined parts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the lathe machine by installing and adjusting cutting tools, chucks, collets, or other fixtures.
- Safely load metal, wood, raw materials, and other items into the lathe machine.
- Perform turning operations such as facing, taper turning, straight turning, and profiling as per engineering drawings or specifications.
- Monitor machining process to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of finished parts.
- Keep detailed records of production runs, including any issues or modifications
- Operate lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts and components
