Technical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Soft skills training in addition to technical training in the field of vehicles and heavy equipment
• Advanced written and spoken English and Arabic

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and assisting the service team with all the technical data required so the maintenance will be preceded as per the manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshooting failure on site, identifies problems, and writes reports.
• Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate workflow
• Visiting dealers and suppliers for having their proper technical support
• Analyzing existing systems and operations and developing preventative maintenance strategies
• Assisting in the analysis of recurring failures or damaged components
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
• Create reports and documentation of findings and solutions
• Escalating unresolved problems to management
• Set the standard hours/cost for repairing service jobs
• Evaluate and enhance the technical efficiency of workshops’ facilities, equipment and the available special tools
• Controlling assets operations by working with the concerns for implementing vehicles GPS tracking system
• Participating in the implementation of a fully functional preventive maintenance scheduling system.
