FABRICATOR (LEAD-NDT/WELDING INSPECTOR)
Qualifications:
- NDT certification with Level 2 as desired (essential) o ASNT Magnetic Particle o ASNT Ultrasonic Testing Level-2 o ASNT Penetrant Testing Level-2 , Note: RT is not required.
- Welding inspector qualification – AWS, CSWIP3.1 (desired).
- Experienced in fabrication for pipe spools, structural steel and general fabrication for Oil and Gas.
- Experienced in various welding codes such as ASME IX and ASME B31.3.
- Experienced with ISO90001
Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspections – most frequent method is MPI. o Create and maintain NDT reports.
- Perform QA and dimensional inspections.
- Weld inspection for in-house fabrication work
- As-built mark ups (add redline dimensions and changes to capture as-built dimensions)
- Maintain NDT equipment and consumables.
- Compile and manage QA paperwork.
- Log daily weld sheets to track all fabrication work.
- Ensure drawings are marked with NDT inspections to the relevant welds.
- Ensure fabrication work packs are followed and all required inspection sheets are filled out.
- Assist and supervise fabrication work to ensure work is carried out as per drawing specifications/scope of work.
- Ensure work is carried out in a timely manner.
- Provide updates to project engineers and management on status.

- Diploma/TOR
- Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
- Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
- 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
