Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetable varieties, flavor profiles, and nutritional benefits.
• Familiarity with juicing equipment and techniques is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
• Attention to detail and adherence to recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs and maintain workflow.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, especially during peak business hours.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as juicing, blending, and cleaning.
• Basic math skills for processing orders, handling cash transactions, and calculating change.

Responsibilities

• Juice Preparation: Prepare a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and other beverages using a juicer, blender, or other equipment. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in flavor, texture, and appearance.
• Ingredient Selection: Select high-quality ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, herbs, and supplements, for use in juice recipes. Inspect and wash produce thoroughly, removing any damaged or spoiled items.
• Recipe Development: Experiment with different combinations of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients to create unique and appealing juice recipes. Consider nutritional benefits, flavor profiles, and customer preferences when developing new recipes
• Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs. Provide attentive service and ensure that orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the juice preparation area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Follow proper food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, including fruits, vegetables, juices, and packaging materials. Place orders for replenishment as needed, ensuring that sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of juicers, blenders, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to management for timely repair or replacement.
• Promotion and Upselling: Promote juice products and seasonal specials to customers, highlighting their nutritional benefits and flavor profiles. Upsell additional items such as snacks, supplements, or add-ons to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
