Project Controls Engineer

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related fields is typically required. Specializations in disciplines relevant to the industry, sector, or specific projects can provide foundational knowledge and expertise.
• Relevant experience in the industry, with a track record in project controls, cost engineering, planning, scheduling, or related roles. Experience in utilizing project controls tools, software, and systems is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of project controls principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to project management and controls.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze data, evaluate project performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project controls tools, software, and systems such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Earned Value Management (EVM), and other relevant tools. Ability to develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly, facilitate discussions, and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges, identify solutions, and implement strategies to optimize project performance, mitigate risks, and achieve objectives.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of project controls activities.
