Construction Manager

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields
• With substantial experience in the construction industry, progressing through roles such as a Field Engineer, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Construction Manager before advancing to a Construction Manager position.
• Demonstrated experience managing construction projects of varying scales, complexities, and types, showcasing the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects successfully.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in construction methodologies, techniques, practices, and processes, with a solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong project management abilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, with a focus on achieving project objectives and timelines.
• Effective leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to lead construction teams, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey information clearly, facilitate discussions, and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in identifying potential risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing measures to address and manage risks throughout the construction process.
• Understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, vendor management, and subcontractor relations to ensure compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Commitment to safety protocols, regulations, and standards, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
