Elevator Installer
Qualifications:
- At least 2-5 years of experience as Elevator Installer
- Can communicate in English Language
- Knowledgeable in installing the rails, brackets, and guide rails, the elevator drive, the carriage, and gates, the electrical and electronic wiring
- Can inspect, test, and do commissioning of the elevator.
- Knowledgeable in mechanic and electricity
- Flexible not only in elevators but for escalators, chairlifts, and moving walkways.
Job Description:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components and select the right equipment.
- Assemble elevator cabin and components for similar systems.
- Connect electrical writing to control panels and motors.
- Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications.
- Dismantle elevator, escalator, or similar units to remove and replace defective parts, using hosts, ladders, and hand tools, or power tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components in order to return elevator or escalator to fully operational status.
- Elevator installer must keep accurate records of their service schedules.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of elevators and escalators on a scheduled basis to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Keep service records of all maintenance and repair tasks
