Global Telecom Projects Management LLC (GTPM) is seeking an experienced Telecom Technician to join our team in Oman. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong expertise in telecom and networking systems, committed to delivering high-quality work in diverse environments.
TELECOM TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in telecom and networking works.
- Proven experience in fiber optic and copper cable splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in OTDR, Power Meter, and Light Source testing equipment.
- Knowledge of structured cabling installation, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Familiarity with OSP conduit installation standards.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiber optic and copper cable splicing and testing.
- Conduct OTDR, Power Meter, and Light Source testing.
- Prepare detailed fiber/copper cable test reports.
- Install structured cabling systems inside data centers.
- Install CCTV and access control systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSP conduit installation standards.
- Perform other related telecom and networking tasks as required.
