Raumai 18 Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee building sites, coordinate with contractors and tradesmen, and maintain efficient use of resources.

Civil Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, preferably in commercial projects.
  • Qualified and registered Civil Engineer with a professional license (Passed Board/Prof’l License Exam).
  • Proficiency in CAD software for engineering and construction planning.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Good health and mature disposition.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage building sites to ensure projects follow approved schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure all construction is completed according to approved plans, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
  • Purchase, maintain, and control building materials, spare parts, and tools; check for defects and quality.
  • Prepare materials, budgets, and progress schedules for all projects.
  • Coordinate work programs of tradesmen, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Minimize expenditure on spare parts, materials, and overall project costs.
  • Utilize CAD software for project design, planning, and construction oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
