Flexo Press Operator (Mark Andy 8-Color) / Slitter Rewinder Operator (Rotoflex)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating Narrow web Flexo machines Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, job tickets, and schematics.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multiple types of Narrow web Flexo and Slitter machines.
• At least a High School Graduate (Senior High School diploma or equivalent vocational certification)
• Vocational diploma in printing technology, mechanical/industrial technology, or similar
• Mechanical aptitude, basic math skills (metric/English measurements), reading job orders, troubleshooting ability (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Flexographic Printing (Mark Andy 8-Color) or similar:
• Set up, run, and maintain Mark Andy 8-color flexo presses for high-quality labels. Interpret job tickets and specifications to ensure accurate color matching, die cutting, and print registration.
• Mix inks and monitor viscosity, pH, and color accuracy as needed.
• Troubleshoot press issues including print defects, registration, and tension problems.
• Maintain press and ancillary equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor print quality throughout the run and make adjustments to ensure standards are met.
• Knowledge of UV flexo and water-based inks.
• 2+ years’ experience operating Mark Andy flexo presses (8-color preferred) or similar.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Slitting and Rewinding (Rotoflex) or similar:
• Operate Rotoflex slitter/rewinder systems for finishing printed rolls. Inspect rolls for quality, defects, and alignment.
• Set up slitting blades and tension controls based on product requirements. Package finished rolls according to customer specs and internal guidelines. Hands-on experience with Rotoflex or similar slitting/rewinding equipment.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
