Crystal Offshore Middle East is seeking a dedicated Junior Safety Officer to assist in implementing and monitoring safety programs on offshore, oil & gas, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will support the Safety team in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Junior Safety Officer

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in safety roles, preferably in oil & gas, offshore, or construction projects
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or related field
• Relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are a plus
• Basic knowledge of occupational health, safety standards, and regulations
• Good communication and observation skills
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
• Middle East experience is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits on-site
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and regulations
• Report hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents to the Safety Supervisor
• Support in preparing safety documentation, reports, and records
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Assist in investigating incidents and near-misses
• Promote a culture of safety among all personnel on-site
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)
